Our Services
Serving our local and out of state clients to take their vision to completion, we offer three main levels of design services.
-
We carefully evaluate your home’s existing footprint to create a design that maximizes functionality, improves flow, and lays the foundation for a beautiful renovation. For projects requiring structural changes, we partner with trusted local architects and structural engineers to seamlessly prepare the design for construction.
-
Choose the level of your project: a modest refresh, a moderate transformation, or completely new makeover. We create a personalized design that brings your room together with thoughtfully selected finishes, fixtures, lighting, timeless materials—all curated to reflect your style and budget.
-
We partner with trusted contractors to bring your design to life, overseeing the details from the approved layout through the final installation to ensure your home is built exactly as envisioned. We coordinate with your builder, answer design questions, verify selections, and make sure there is a seamless installation. This full-service design coordination is available exclusively for local clients.
Custom Kitchen
A thoughtfully designed kitchen is more than beautiful—it should improve the way your family lives every day. At Stone & Story Co., we begin every project by understanding how you cook, gather, entertain, and move through your home. From there, we develop a layout and cabinetry that maximizes functionality, interior storage, and flow. Whether your project is a simple refresh or a complete transformation, every recommendation is made with your story in mind.
The Refresh
Wanting an elevated look and more functionality to your current kitchen but don’t need to change your layout or replace every appliance. We thoughtfully redesign your kitchen by modifying existing cabinetry when possible, selecting new finishes, hardware, lighting, countertops, paint—often preserving existing flooring and minimizing demolition. The result is a fresh, cohesive kitchen with a timeless feel.
Transformed
Reimagines your kitchen while working within much of the existing footprint. We evaluate opportunities to improve functionality through new cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, lighting, countertops, and a redesigned island while strategically retaining elements such as plumbing locations when practical. This approach delivers a dramatic transformation while balancing investment and value.
All New Kitchen
For homeowners seeking a complete transformation, our custom renovation begins with a blank canvas. Every element is thoughtfully considered—from optimizing the floor plan and improving circulation to designing custom cabinetry, layered millwork, premium materials, and carefully curated finishes. The result is a kitchen that feels uniquely tailored to your family's lifestyle while maximizing both everyday function and long-term home value.
